What is Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB)?
Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) constantly tracks your energy use and automatically directs available capacity to your EV charger. It automatically adjusts the charging speed based on how much electricity you're using, so you’ll never go over your power limit.
How does it work?
- Installation: The DLB kit is installed inside your power supply cabinet by a certified installer.
- Monitoring: Current sensors track your home’s power usage, while an adaptor communicates with your EV charger to manage available capacity.
- Adjusting: The system adjusts your charging rate in real-time to make sure you never go over your power limit.
