Our universal single-phase VEC01 makes charging your EV or PHEV at home smart, simple, and affordable. With its universal charging port, it’s compatible with all EVs—just make sure you’ve got the right charging cable for your car (we can help with that too!).
There’s built-in LED lights that show your charging status and show any error messaging. Plus, PEN protection means it’s safe and compliant, without needing an earth rod installation.
You can adjust the power between 3.7kW and 7.4kW, giving you the flexibility to charge at the speed that suits your home setup. And, thanks to load balancing, you can safely charge multiple vehicles without overloading your power supply.
The VEC01 is built to handle the UK’s unpredictable weather. With IP55-rating, it’s dustproof and weatherproof, and its corrosion-resistant, fire-retardant casing guarantees it will last for years to come.
And because life’s busy, we’ve made charging your car even simpler with our free evec app. Use your phone to start, stop or check your charge anytime, anywhere, so topping up your EV fits seamlessly into your day.

We have recently started buying and installing Evec chargers and I have been really pleased with the level of service received to date. From initial enquiries about the chargers, ensuring it met our own and current technical requirements through to ordering, payment and invoicing, the staff at Evec have been great. Nothing is too much trouble and they are quick to reply to emails and provide whatever information or documentation I have asked for. Delivery has, as promised, been made within 24-48 hours of paying. Good arrived well packaged and presented and we are looking forward to working with Evec much more going into the New year ahead. Good luck Evec making a name for yourselves in this growing sector.

I recommend the product. It delivers what it promises. The only thing that needs improvement is the application, but it still works perfectly. I had the installation done separately by an authorized person from British Gas.

Installed a few evec chargers and find them incredibly easy to set up with my clients, just a pity the front is not able to detach when testing, seems a strain on the cables factory installed

What does a standard installation mean?
What's included?
- Applicable to VEC01 & VEC03 chargers only
- Offer applies to 10m cable installations, including data cable for load limiting.
- The cable must be drilled through an external wall and clipped direct to the charger location
- Consumer unit must be up to date and have adequate space.
- Charger installed from an existing DP isolator using a Henley block, or installing from a compliant consumer unit which has a spare non-RCD Way. (If an upgrade is needed to an existing RCD in the consumer unit this would be additional costs to customer and subject to quoting).
- Installation of Surge protection, DP Type A RCD and required MCB
- The charger location must be in reach of the household Wi-Fi. If booster required will be additional cost.
- Charger to be installed charge point to a brick or plaster wall or other suitable permanent structure.
- Testing, commissioning, set up and demonstration of charger.
- Notifying DNO, Building control and issuing electrical certification
Exclusions
- No additional works or groundworks
- DNO upgrade works, or upgrades to existing electrical system
- Entering loft spaces; lift floorboards or flooring; taking apart any furniture, working above a height of 2m.
- Installations that don’t meet the above requirements may be subject to additional charges.
